Missing Biometric RP: 2 weeks before BC application

Hey Guys,
My Biometric resident permit is missing and i have NCS appointment booked for next week.
What options do i have ? Has anyone seen a case like this before ?
I still have the letter that came with the Biometric ID and a softcopy of the BRP though. Can i use this instead or i have to apply for a replacement ?
