Hi,

I just read that new changes that have been in effect from 28th Oct 2013.

I had recently given a IELTS - General Test as were in two minds if we should live in UK or move to Australia.

I scored the below.

Listening - 7, Reading - 7.5, Writing - 6.5 and Speaking - 8. With an overall score of 7.

Will this be acceptable in lieu to the NARIC certification for your degree certs?

Also will it be a problem to submit the IELTS certificate considering that it was done with a intent to immigrate to australia?

Hi,
Your IELTS score is well above the B1 level and you should be absolutely fine. I don't think HO minds why you took the test, as long as it is above the B1 level, it should be fine.

Just wanted to confirm, apart from the test result, is there anything else that I need to submit wrt to documentation for IELTS test?

Or is it that I just take my test result certificate?

Hi,
My wife and I just showed the test results to lady in NCS who took a copy and send to HO. It worked. Just the results is enough.
