Fresh Application for Naturalisation

Hi,

I am planning to apply for Naturalisation in Feb. 2014. I am sorry if some of my questions are already asked or addressed on this forum. So, please excuse me.

I would like to brief regarding the applicants.

Main Applicant: On ILR (5 Years HSMP + Tier 1) from Jan. 2013
Dependent: On ILR from Jan, 2013
Kid 1: On ILR from Jan, 2013 (Born in India)
Kid 2: On ILR from Jan, 2013 (Born in UK - 2010)

My questions are:

a) There are different forms like AN, MN etc. are there. I am confused, what is the right form that I should use for naturalisation. Where would I get the naturalisation application forms?
b) Do I need to use separate form for each applicant (as we are all applying at the same time)
c) What is the total amount of fee that I need to pay for all the four applicants applying together? (I have seen the fee PDF, but it has so many types of fee details)
d) I am planning to get the application signed as referee by School Head Teacher and GP. Should that be OK?
e) Birmingham City Council Website says, fee of £310 for private oath, is it per adult or per whole family?
f) I read "The Knowledge of Language and Life in the UK requirement changed on 28 October 2013". What is this new requirement? (Me and my wife has already passed the Citizenship Test before applying ILR). Do we need to pass anything further?

Please let me know if I am missing anything.

Thanks in advance for your help.

My questions are:

a) There are different forms like AN, MN etc. are there. I am confused, what is the right form that I should use for naturalisation. Where would I get the naturalisation application forms? Form AN for adults and Form MN1 for children, both available on the UKBA website
b) Do I need to use separate form for each applicant (as we are all applying at the same time) Yes, each applicants needs their own form.
c) What is the total amount of fee that I need to pay for all the four applicants applying together? (I have seen the fee PDF, but it has so many types of fee details) £1550 total for you and your wife and and £1178 total for the children
d) I am planning to get the application signed as referee by School Head Teacher and GP. Should that be OK? Yes
e) Birmingham City Council Website says, fee of £310 for private oath, is it per adult or per whole family? Usually per adult i think, check with them or do a public ceremony for no extra charge as this fee is already included in the naturalisation fee
f) I read "The Knowledge of Language and Life in the UK requirement changed on 28 October 2013". What is this new requirement? (Me and my wife has already passed the Citizenship Test before applying ILR). Do we need to pass anything further? Yes, you both need English level B1 or a degree taught in English etc.

Also, please note that for your children you apply under section 1(3) for the UK born child which is entitlement and under section 3(1) for the born abroad child which is at discretion.
