Lost my passport

I have lost my passport and I am wondering how this may influence my citizenship application as I am eligible to apply on basis of being married to BC for over 3 years.
I have been absent for about 60 days in the past year and in total about 150 days for the past 3 years.
Could someone please advise on what would be the best steps I should be taking?
Thank you.

Hi,
So, did you apply for a replacement passport? I think UKBA will need to see proof of your Absence for last 3 years!!

I did apply for a new passport and have registered with the police that my passport is lost.
However, I have no idea how I can prove exactly my absence in the past 3 years. I know roughly how much I was absent (+/- 10%) but not for sure.

Hi,
Can you let us know how did you prove your absence without the old passport or is it not needed?
Thanks.
Raj.

Hi milan69,
You can apply for SAR report. The SAR report is official and will provide you all your UK entry dates, flight number and photocopy of your landing form. I believe the same report are being used by HO. This will cost you £10 and may take upto 40 days to arrive. The SAR report along with your police complain should be fine to prove your residency.
