British registration MN1

Successful application for Registration ( MN1 )of two kids as British Citizens
I applied for British registration of my British born kids(2) and used MN1 Form
Both kids are born in UK and got Pakistani passport for travel and visa from home office.
When I applied for British registration their visas have been expired for nearly 0ne year

Documents that were sent to home office were:

1. Both kids Pakistani passports original
2. Marriage certificate in urdu and English language
3. Me and wife passports and BRP card photocopies
4. One kid has changed his name so I sent one deed poll original copy along with a letter of consent

Time line:

• Applied for British registration (MN1) on : 25th November 2013
• Money deducted : 15th January 2014
• Approval Letter issued : 31st January 2014
• Received all documents + Approval Letter : 4th February 2014

Certificate Received Separately :

• Certificate of 1st child received on 7th February 2014
• Certificate Second child received on 10th February 2014

Hi Saqib

Thanks for sharing your experience. I have few questions. Who did you asked for references? Didn't you applied through NCS?

If I use NCS, do they still need Original Documents? How did you paid your fees?

sorry to reply you so late as i didn't check the message.In case of my 2 years old daughter one referee was her health visitor and my house owner was the other referee for both of my kids. For my 5 years old son his class teacher served as a referee.Regarding NCS we did not use that service so don't know about it, we sent it by post and sent the original documents except BRP cards.
we paid fees by Direct Debit.
