Hi everyone,
I am IT Contractor, have a Ltd company. I am director for the company and also taking salary as employee. I am about to apply for Citizenship.

Can you please suggest what to fill in for these fields.

3.2 - Should I check just Employee or Director or both?
3.3 - Name of the employer - Should I write my Ltd company name or the company where I am working as a contractor now?
3.4 - Address of the employer - I guess this depends on 3.3
3.5 - Tax office Reference/ Address - What to write here?

This question is to ensure you've paid the proper taxes to HMRC.

You should tick both Director and Employee.
Your employer is the entity that pays your salary - not the company that pays the contractor company.
Tax office is found on your P60 or the office to which your company pays your income tax to HMRC on your behalf/NIC/etc.

If there are multiple answers to these questions, provide a clear explanation to the situation on the "Additional Information" page.

3.4 - Address of the employer - I guess this depends on 3.3 Your own company registered office address
3.5 - Tax office Reference/ Address - What to write here? It is your won limited company tax office reference of the format "475PJ...."

I just got citizenship approved (letter arrived yesterday)
In the same situation i had ticked both employee and director. I had only had a company since May

I put my company name (Tea time Ltd)

I put my home address

I included my personal HMRC address and personal UTR (unique tax payer reference)

I have been in PAYE employment for the past 3.5 years but before that was director of a ltd co for a couple of years and it is about to be struck off and everything closed down. Do I need to provide the ltd co's details on the application at all?
