council tax

Hi
My BC is due in May and I am wondering about my council tax clearance. I moved out of Aberdeen start of 2013 before my new council tax month started. I had been duly paying my council taxes and started paying council tax immediately in my new property. I did speak to Aberdeen county and told them that I was moving. I am just wondering what do I need to do?

Thanks.

PS. I don't have any record of speaking with council.

If you have paid then there is nothing to worry about as there are no arrear. It is the landlords and new tenants responsibility to complete the new occupant forms and if you have informed them, then that is fine. For your own peace of mind, send them an email to confirm.

didn't aberdeen council send you any letter confirming closure of your council tax account with full / final calculations of your dues/refunds?

Thanks. I moved out of aberdeen and started living in London properties the same day. I did phone aberdeen council and said that i have moved out but did not give them my address as they did not ask? Then i did not hear from them. they do not have my address but might have my email address as i provided this address everytime i paid my council tax for receipt.

i have written them email but have not heard back from them! i will ring them and ask!!
