Any time duration after British Citizenship to apply Pass.

Hi Guys,
Thanks in advance for helping out.
I got my British citizenship in Hong Kong back in 2008 but I didn't apply for British passport afterword and I am holding Nepalese passport up until now.
My question is, Is there time duration that new British citizen has to apply for British passport immediately after they gotten the citizenship?
I know that I have to fill in "C1" form but I am just afraid that time gap between citizenship and passport will cause trouble. It would be great help if someone could shade some light about this situation.
