Absences in the last 12 months before BC application

I have received ILR on the grounds of lawful 10 years residence in UK. I plan to apply for BC in January 2015. I am planing to leave UK for 3 months (90 days) this summer, which is OK according to booklet AN. The only thing I am warring about is that I will take all 90 days in one go (I am not working at the moment, no family here). Will this affect my BC application next year? I did not leave the country in last 5 years. Thanks.

Hi,
Sorry if this question has been asked before.
I will apply for Naturalization next Feb after completing my 3 years. I have 99 days absence in last year but less than 270 over 3 years. Will the absence over 90 days affect my application?? Do I have to apply for discretion for the absences. Is there any links to a successful applications similar to my situation?
Thanks

According to
requirement booklet (click here) they normally disregard up 100 days in last 12 months, you will be
just about inside the limits. Seniors can tell you better.

Hi CR001
Reading your response, i understood that it will affect the naturalisation application, if you don't take all 3 month in one go ?
Please can you clarify ?
Like if you take few weeks in and out by multiple trips but making sure its within 3 months limit in the past 12 months, does it still affect ?
Thanks

Reading Vinny's links , it looks like I have to apply for discretion if I exceeded 90 days in the final year. I spent 99 days in the final year. Please clarify.

Batasha, I had 122 days of absences in the final year, I applied fir discretion and recieved approval 12 weeks later. No one can guarantee you that you will get 100% positive outcome as it is up to the case worker to aply discretion. Having said this, absences of up to 100 days are usually disregarded.

You tick the relevant box on AN form and on page 15 II suggest you write that you have made UK your home, together with your family and that most of your estate is in the UK.
