Employment/intention to continue to live in UK

I am about to apply for naturalisation, having been granted ILR in 2010 (my family and I have been resident in the UK since Sept 2004). I have been unemployed since June 2013, but have not claimed any benefits, have paid in full and on time my taxes, council taxes, etc. Now, just before applying, I have a prospective job that would require me (and my family) to leave the UK in the next few months. I would like for all of us to be naturalised, but does this prospective job jeopardise my application (section 1.B.(3) of Guide AN would seem to indicate that it is a problem).

Thanks in advance for any light you could shed on this.

Thanks

You can be absent for up to 90 days in the final year.

Don't indicate on the form that you intend to leave. Write that you will be making the UK your home. Once you are approved and have your British passport, you are free to go where you want to.

And I'm assuming, based on other responses I have seen on the site, that my status as currently unemployed will not impact my application?

Correct, employment is not a requirement for applying for naturalisation.
