Payment Declined

Hi All, I applied for Natrualisation on 17/03/2014, acknowledgement along mention of payment declining due to invalid expiry date on payment slip, on the same letter dated 24/03/2014 recieved on 26/03/2014. Sent back the filled in payment slip that reached HO on 27/03/2014. Still Payment not taken out.

Could any inidcate of timelines for declined payments being taken out after receiving correct information please.

There is no standard home office guideline on payment processing timelines and delays due to payment error.

Going by Feb and Mar naturalisation applications max time they are taking to debit accounts is 1-2 weeks. I expect it should remain same in your case now.

Hi All,

Just to update if it helps others, balance was reduced on 10/04/2014, and payment appeared on bank statement on 12/04/2014. Good luck to all.
