Hi everyone,

My daughter is 1.4years old born in uk. She is having Indian passport and uk visa. Her mother is tier1general and my daughter is her dependent.
I have a separate tier 1 visa holder and will get the ILR by next 2 months. Once I get my ILR will my daughter be eligible for British passport ?
Her mother's ILR is next year Feb so do I have to wait till her mother gets the ILR or I can apply for my daughter's Uk citizenship once I get the ILR?

Thanks

Once either parent obtains ILR you can register the child as a British citizen on form MN1 under section 1(3) of the BNA as the child is entitled to register as child born in the UK.

Once you receive the registration certificate, you can apply for the child's British passport.
