Hi all,
I want to apply for British citizenship and have a question on the Life in the UK test.

I took the Life in the UK test in Feb.2008 and got the Indefinite Leave to remain in Jan.2009, it's been 6 years since I have taken the test, is the certificate still valid? Do I have to take a new one? Because the following information is not clear and concerns me.

I found on the page 12 of booklet "Whilst the Home Office will retain the information it gets from test centres for a reasonable period, you should submit your application as soon as possible after taking the test. "https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/s ... let-an.pdf

Could you give some advice please? Thank you.

You don't need to take it again as HO has it in records. On AN form you need to put LIUK certificate number and that is it.
