NCS Naturalization

HI,
I am applying for naturalization. Do i need to go thru NCS (national checking service) or i can just do postal ?
Please help

You can do it yourself.
NCS helps you check if you have all necessary documents as well as photocopying your passport and documents and returning the originals.

If you apply through NCS, you can keep your original documents (passports etc). They will return it to you after the verification.

one last question if i apply on my own then do i need to send originals or can i send photocopies?

You have to have photocopies certified.
Please double check who is authorized to certify your photocopies.

If you apply on your own by post, you have to send your original passport(s) and BRP etc.
NCS is worth the small extra cost.
