I just wanted to take some advice.

I am applying for citizenship at the end of this month using AN1 form. I have just noticed on UKBA website that a new version on AN1 form has now been uploaded. The new version is more or less similar to old one from October 2013.

Now the issue is that I have already used the old form to take references last month. I am thinking of filling AN1 form again (using new version) excluding reference page (page number 14) which is same as the old one with no change.

My question is that – would it be an issue that my referees have signed their reference part a month ago on a form that is come into action from June?

I am not sure if this is going to be an issue but I want to cover everything so there aren’t any delays in processing of my application.

The new version of AN1 form is identical to previous version, apart from email address confirmation field on Page 3. I think it is safe to use new version of AN1 form with reference page (Page number 14) from previous version of AN1form.

In view of your references signed and dated the reference page before new AN1 form was rolled out on 02-June-2014...I think its not going to be much of an issue, however I leave this one for a senior member/moderator to answer.

Senior members - please can you advise if I am okay to use reference page that has been dated and signed by my refees a month ago when old version of AN1 form was in use.

I was in exactly in the same situation. I had an appointment on 11/06 and I found that new version of application is published on HO web on 09/06.

The reference page is exactly same in both the versions. Hoping that it wont be a problem.

Individual page are not version controlled and there is no difference between two versions except the title page and page 3, so you can use your existing referee page with full confidence,

Is "AN1" form different than form "AN" ?

I can see only form AN in the uk gov website. My husband will be applying for naturalisation on the basis of Married to a British Citizen, is "AN" form the correct one to use?

It is AN only. There is no AN 1.
