any idea about Passport fast track appointment?

Hi there
Just wondering whether anyone has any idea of Passport fast track appointments? I have booked one for my child's first passport in Liverpool.
Any idea how long the appointment lasts, and do they really send the passport in weeks time?
anyone like to share any experience?

It lasts 10 minutes, over the counter, Yes, the passports were delivered one day short of a week.

It lasts for 10 mins, same as Check and Send in Post office, but it will happen in the HMPO, no other difference

in fast track service do they take foreign passport?
or do they clarify it and give it back in same time?

How do we pay for the passport fees? Is there any payment form to be filled in or we can pay by our debit/credit card at HMPO?
