Hi, I will be eligible for naturalization in January 2015, have some questions in mind ...can some one please help

1. I want to know after applying the application through NCS can i travel ?
2. Does Home Office call for Finger prints or any interview?
3. What if i am not working, does this effect my application? or Good Character (what to write in HMRC Tax Reff)

Residency requirement is to be meet upto the time of application. So, can i travel or wait back home (INDIA)...still the application is in progress and when ever the application is approved..then come back and attend the ceremony.

Once you apply , at the moment it is taking upto 2 months to hear from UKBA about the applicaiton. During this process you are free to roam. I am not sure abt the process after this... u will have your passport and ILR in your hand during this period.

In the application I dont remember I have filled anything wrt salary or job.. meaning it doesnt mater if you have a job or not... (Pls check with others)

Employment is not a requirement to apply for naturalisation.

In Naturalization form...under the Good Character, they ask for occupation and Tax Reff
what to write if you not working?
