Exceed 30 mph Speed Limit!

I am about applying for British citizenship as I hold an ILR for more than one year but I have just received NID Notice of intended prosecution from POLICE SCOTLAND for exceed 30 mph speed limit whilst driving.
I have read in the letter that this matter will normally be dealt with by issuing a conditional offer of a Fixed penalty notice (COFPN)which imposes a fixed penalty and three penalty points and it says that a police report will be created and may be sent to the procurator Fiscal for their consideration of a prosecution.
Will this potential sentence be termed as a criminal conviction, will I have to mention it on my application and if yes how will it affect my application. Please any advice will be appreciated.

Hi summer,
Can i check whether u declared COFPN in your naturalization form?

If yes, how did it go - was ur application approved? Did you mention it as criminal conviction as Yes in your AN form?
