Hello all,
my father is born in india in1940, i am living in the uk with ILR for the past 11 years, married to british citizen. My father is very old on his own, my mother has passed away long back. Though i have other sisters, they are not in a position to have him with them for a long time. Everytime he has to come here he needs to go through the complete visa process, in his old age using up his mkney and ending up stressed. Is there a way he could qualify for british citizenship? Pls advise.

Adult Dependent visa, costs £1906, requires undertaking such as being able to provide medical cover etc (i.e. no NHS), very onerous, we've not heard of any being granted (one anecdotally) plus if it refused, as is very highly likely, that would make any subsequent visit visas impossible, as the attempt to settle has been declared.

The fact you have local siblings will count against too....
