ILR holder to get married BC. Do I need to wait 1 year ILR?

Hi to all. I am an ILR holder since January 2014. We are planning to get married soon. My partner is PR holder and already applied for BC 1 month ago. I am not sure if my partner will be a BC by the time we get married. But if to say my partner becomes BC after we married but before January 2015, will I be eligible to apply for BC before January 2015? Or will I still need to wait till I have 1 year ILR? And if I will be eligible to apply for BC before January 2015, may I send my AN application as soon as my partner receives BC certificate or would I need to wait till my partner receives British Passport? Thank you.

Thanks for your reply. I am resident in the UK for 12 years. Do we need to be married for 3 years before I will be eligible to apply for BC? Or can I apply as soon as my spouse will receive BC certificate even though we will be married for 1-2 months only at that time?
