Can citizenship be revoked if out of the country for long?

Is there a time limit rule for being out of the UK before British citizenship can be revoked, like there is with an ILR visa? Say I get my citizenship, then soon move back to the US indefinitely due to a job change / etc.

I remember that there was a question in the AN application form, something like "In which country do intend to live after citizenship?"
I always thought the person should intend to live in UK otherwise why they would ask this question.

Yes they should intend to but once granted need not stay here.
