applied for naturalization but stopped by police

hi seniors
i came here on HSMP in nov. 2007,,,,,,,got ILR in july 2013.
i sent my citizenship application through NCS on 27/09/14 but unfortunately i was stopped by the police (on M25) on 31/09/14. the offence was,,,,,drive vehicle without reasonable consideration to others,,,but later on i received a letter from the police that there will be no points on license or fixed penalty if i go for road safety awareness course. i booked a course now but the question is that should i inform the HOME OFFICE about this incident...please guide....thanks
