Registration of British Citizenship (EEA national spouse)

I am planning to register a British citizenship, as I am a British national listed on this page https://www.gov.uk/register-british-cit ... -nationals, using the route of having lived in the UK for 5 years.

I entered the UK more than 5 years ago (03/2008) as a family member of EEA national using a non British national passport. My residence card (EEA2 application) was issued also on my non British national passport. The residence card was expired 05/2014. I’m hoping to receive my PR soon after a refusal to my EEA 4 application in 06/2014 followed by an appeal to the First-Tier Tribunal Court which was allowed 07/2014.

So my questions are:

Can I register a British citizen using my British nationality even though I entered into the UK using a non British national passport?

Do I need to wait for 12 months after the date of the PR card issue? My understand is not, because my PR status was automatically obtained 04/2013 and by the time of applying for the British citizenship, I have already passed this 12-month not subject to time limit under the immigration laws period, although confirmation of the PR will be issued hopefully in 09/2014 (i.e. confirmation is less than 1 year at the time of registration)

I was checking the application form and the associated guidance for ‘naturalisation’ as they mention about EEA national/EEA national direct family member applicant while nothing is mentioned about EEA national/family member applicants in the registration for British citizenship form/guidance. I wanted to see what sort of information and documents need to be provided.

I really hope I can register a British citizenship instead of applying for naturalisation as it seems simpler, at least no need to prove English language level or passing this Life in the UK test.

Thanks for your advice!
