Hi,

I did my degree in Asia and Germany ( Taught in English), Moreover I also did IELTS(2006) with average score 6.5 in Westminster UK.
While working in UK I also gained OCR Level1 Certificate in Adult Literacy.
I kindly request you to guide me,is it enough to prove my language requirement set by HO.

Your IELTS from 2006 should do just fine.

Hi ecogle,

I have a question regarding you naturalisation especially regarding the following comment "moreover I also did IELTS(2006) with average score 6.5 in Westminster UK".

Your certificate would've have been expired correct?
If so, did you use the expired certificate for your English language requirement? Was it accepted although expired?

Please confirm as my spouse has IELTS from 2014 and will be expired before she applies for Naturalisation (Dec-2014).

thanks

If your wife has done IELTS in UK then it would never expire for citizenship application however if she has done IELTS outside of Uk BUT it was used for immigration purpose before during entry clearance THEN ALSO it would never expire for citizenship application.
However if she has done IELTS outside of UK and it was never used for immigration purpose then she has to take a qualifying exam.
