Five days from fee to approval - wow!

With all these approvals, I keep coming home hoping to see this famous brown envelope in the mailbox, but being EU I worry I will be waiting for a long time!

Language criteria met : Life in UK, NARIC English Assessment, Degree Certificate, Letter from University (Taught in English).

Date of receipt by UKBA: 09/10/14(Royal Mail confirmation)
Date of acknowledgment: 29/10/2014 ( Dated 22/10/2014 in letter ).
Date of debit or clearance of fees: 23/10/2014
Date approval received:Letter received 22/11/2014 , letter dated 15/11/2014.
Date of ceremony:02/12/2014

Your guess is as good as mine, but EU citizens without a PR card haven't gotten an approval in months in any of the threads on here, as far as anyone has noticed.

Hello, I assume you need to ring the council stated in the letter and arrange for the ceremony.. Only then you receive the letter... I may be wrong may be others can shed some light on this.

Hello, I assume you need to ring the council stated in the letter and arrange for the ceremony.. Only then you receive the letter... I may be wrong may be others can shed some light on this.

Congrats mate and yes you are correct, you have to call the council whose number should be mentioned on your approval letter and book your ceremony with them and they will send you an invitation letter provided there is enough time until the ceremony date for them to send the letter. Sometimes if your ceremony is withing 1-2 days then you simply show up with your ID and approval letter and thats it.
Also note that you have to call the council whose address is mentioned on your approval letter, it may not be your local council and may not be the closest either.

How do you know that? Was it one of the call centre agents who told you that? If it was, I bet they only said that to fob you off until next year.

It comes through 2nd class royal mail unless you provided them your own pre-paid return envelope.

I need your help please, I got my ILR on 10 Years route on 01.02.2014. My question is that when can I apply? my friend told me I can only apply on or after 01.02.2015 as this is not like a visa that you can apply 28 days before.

Also what documents do I need? I have UK degree and LIK Test that I used last year?
