Passport renewal

Hi
I have submitted my citizenship application on Aug 2014 NCS service. My application is still under process. In the meantime I have renewed my Indian passport on Sep 2014 last week. In this process my previous passport has been cancelled and new passport has been given.
Can you please let me know if this might create an issue during the citizenship application process? Do I need to inform either the council or the UK visa office? If so is there any address where I need to send this document?
