Hi
How long does it normally take roughly to obtain naturalisation certificate and british passport? My current passport (issued by my native country) expires May 2015. Do you think I will have enough time ? Is there a minimum validity for current passport when applying for naturalisation / british passport?
I would appreciate your advice.
Thanks
Jay

You have enough time hopefully things will sorted by May 2015.
In these days naturalization took around 3 to 5 months and passport and ceremony around 4 to 6 weeks.
And remember if you apply through NCS than you don't need to send your original passport and Home Office documents for getting naturalization certificates.

Thank you Malik. Is NCS the fastest? Is there anything else I need to know ?
I guess there is no minimum validity
period for the current passport ?
Thanks

There is no requirement for the passport to be valid at all when applying for naturalisation.
