Do i need to send Original or Photocopy evidence
Address I should I post the documents to
Fees, do I need to pay as it is home office mistake
how long does the process take
Emailaddress and/or contact number for sending an email to home office about this.
Thanks so much everyone in advance.

Hi, I have wrong details on my certificate as well. There is piece of paper which explain what to do, no need to send fee. The address should be shown on that piece of paper. You need copy of the passport, evidence with right details and explanation with the correct details. Send mine 2 1/2 weeks ago, no reply, don't know how long take. Hope this help, but you have probably been sorted.

Hi Pucho
Thanks so much for the reply, sorry for belated response. We have our ceremony next week, so I am hoping in the certificate, it will have right details ( as with few people in the forum there are chances that they will print right details in the naturalisation certificate too optimistic I know ) or else I will follow the procedure you have explained.
By the way did u receive your amended certificate.
Regards
Chandra

Hi Chandra, Still waiting for ours. I called last week Home office, they told me that the dead end for amendment is 6 weeks. Ridiculous!!! This is a job for 10 min. I am planning to call next week again!
Regards!

That's ridiculous. I hope you get it soon.
Fingers crossed for us.
What is the number we need to call, if we need an update and also do we get acknowledge ment after we send for amendment.
Thanks so much.
Chandra

The number is 03001232253, You need the reference number from the invitation letter. Keep all details from it, because on the ceremony they will take the invitation letter. It is the address, phone number, ref.number, dates, poll/cover Note No.

today I received a letter from HO saying your corrected certificate will be sent shortly. They sent this letter in spl delivery envelope that I had sent with certificate. Why didn't they use the same envelope to return corrected certificate. I dont know how and when they are going to send certificate.
Anyone had similar experience or know how HO is going to send certificate?

Hi Neo
That is strange. Even I sent them special envelope but at least you received a letter from home office saying they will send corrected certificate soon.
I didn't receive any communication like that from home office.
