Hello. I am going to apply for Naturalisation now.

I know some people asked to check them that they gathered all the documents and did not forget anything. I wanted to do the same, here is my Checklist. One or two documents are probably not essential but I still wanted to add them, just in case, as I feel they are quite useful and important. I got ILR after 10 years long Residence. Then lived for 1 year. So, here we go:

1. Form AN itself with one photo (with name and DOB) glued on Referees page (I don't send any more photos).

2. Current passport and all previous older passports

3. ILR Biometric card and letter from Home Office confirming it

4. Life in the UK Test and MA degree certificate

6. Paper ID card (just in case as it got all previous addresses, etc)

7. Payment slip with fee payment by debit card

8. Self Emplyment recent Self-Assessement statement of Account from HMRC (I am Self Employed)


I think that's all.

Please confirm I did not forget anything.

Depending on which ID you used for your LIUK test you may need that. And if you have points on your drivers license you need the counterpart.

I used biometric ID card, so I think ILR card is enough now in term of LIUK ID.
