Passport application (max delay?) after Naturalisation

Hello,

I have applied for Naturalisation by end of Sep 2014. Based on the current timeline I understand it would be available in three months time i.e. Dec 2014 provided everything goes well.

I'm aware of the fact that I should contact the Council within 14 days upon receiving the approval letter and take the Oath and receive certificate within 3 months period.

Q - After receiving the naturalisation certificate how long can I stay & travel on non UK passport ? I have travel plans in mid Feb and will be away for three week period (Can't move my dates). Considering the amount of wait time for passport and further time for Visa I'm bit confused.

Thanks in advance for the valuable response.

You can travel as long as your other UK passport is valid without restrictions.
Jut keep in mind:

Milan69 - Did you mean "as long as my other Non-UK passport is valid" ?

Having said that, if you are Indian citizen you cease to become one within 90 days upon becoming British Citizen. You must check with the rules of the country you hold the current passport from.

Yes I'm Indian citizen and hold an Indian passport. I will keep the 90 days count and work my travel dates around that. Thanks.

And remember in order to get back on a flight to the UK you'll have to prove to the airline staff you're allowed into the UK. So I suggest taking your BRP card with for the airline staff and your naturalisation certificate for the immigration officer.
