Hi all,

Here is our case:

The time of my wife's conception was: July 2013
ILR Holder until: October 2013
The time I became British Citizen is: October 2013
The time when my Indian passport cancelled: December 2013
Child born in India in the month of: April 2014

Now, which countries citizen will my Son qualify for? British or Indian?

I'm with an opinion that he DOES NOT qualify for ANY of the citizenships, is that correct? if so what should we be doing? any ideas / help / pointers / advises please?

Experts can tell you better, but as far as I know your child is British by descent since he was born after you became British, where he was born doesn't matter.

Contrary to this I think he is eligible for either citizenship.. British as his father is British or Indian via his mother (assuming she is still Indian)!

The child is British by descent. It is also Indian by birth. However, if you apply for a British passport on its behalf, the Indian citizenship will be automatically revoked.
Incidentally, in the OP's initial post, I presume that he is referring to the child's conception, not his wife's. In any case, that is a matter of supreme indifference to the question at hand.
