5yrs + 1Yrs ILR question

Hi All,
I am one of those beneficiaries of this group who have started their journey on this forum by applying for Tier 1 and reached the Naturalization stage in last 5-6 years.
I cannot thank enough all members who have contributed in this forum and helped lots of members like myself.

My query is related to my eligibility for applying for Naturalization as per below dates,

Tier 1 EC date : 31-Oct-2008
Entered UK : 14-Jan-2009
Tier 1 Extension date: 15-Dec-2011 - (Applied using the Tier 1 EC date, as entered UK within 90 days)
Tier 1 Extension END date: 15-Dec-2013
ILR date : 24-Oct-2013

Can I apply for Naturalization using the ILR date 24-Oct-2013 - since I have completed 1 year stay on ILR?
Or I have to wait till 14-Jan-2015 to complete 5 years + 1 years stay since I entered UK on 14-Jan-2009?
I was in the UK 5 years back i.e in Nov-2009

Any advice will be of great help

Regards
SriyaB

For naturalisation the requirement is 5 years residence which includes the 1 year on ILR (for most this equates to 5+1=6). If you were physically present in the UK in November/December 2009, you can apply now if you meet all the other requirements.
