Documents for proof of address

I am a Self Employed in UK from about 6 years and I would like to apply for British citizenship.

I am an EEA natioanl and I live in Uk without any visa or permit of stay.

What documents are requested as proof of these elegible criterias?

- lived in the UK for at least the 5 years before the date of your application
- spent no more than 450 days outside the UK during those 5 years
- spent no more than 90 days outside the UK in the last 12 months

and also in the official website I read:
- been granted indefinite leave to stay in the UK (or permanent residence if you’re an EEA national) - this means there’s no specific date that you have to leave

Do I need to apply to some kind of permanent residence status before to apply for citizenship? How can I apply to this permanent residence?

Interesting...

So if I understood well, the best way is to request PR Card.

some years ago I did apply for the UK PR Card, I sent my original National ID Card as requested... and they lost it... I had to go back to my country for report the lost document and request a new one....

So the fact is that I have to risk again the same story, isn't it?
