Hello

I am applying for BC and I have a question on declaration section of AN1 form. Point number 6.5 states the following:

6.5 Where I have provided a photocopy of my spouse’s or civil partner’s passport, I confirm that, to the
best of my knowledge and belief, it is a complete and full copy of that original document.

I am applying on my own - I am currently on ILR (Tier 1 to ILR route). Do I still need to tick this box? I feel it doesn't related to me as I am not providing UKBA with photocopy of my spouse passport.

Please advise if this box need to be ticked even if it doesn't apply to you OR can I leave it unpicked.

Thanks in advance..

Point 6.5 relates to a British spouse if the applicant is applying for naturalisation as spouse of BC based on 3 years residence.

If you are applying on the basis of 5 years residence which includes 1 year on ILR, it is not relevant to you.
