Hi Guys,

I have seen in this forum that LIUK test don't have any expiry & once test is taken no need to retake test.

My details
ILR - March 2013 (HSMP + Tier1)
Got a degree taught in English (NARIC approved) + IELTS + BULATS certficate
LIUK Passed - Feb 2013
Eligible for Citizn from ~April 2014

I am planning to apply for Naturalization this month.

Following documents seems to be suggesting I need to take LIUK test again..? Please clarify? Any update from moderators or someone gone through similar steps recently will be very helpful. Thanks.

1. Form AN (Naturalisation Form) section 1.22 witrh check box:-

I met knowledge of language and life requirement to qualify for settlement on or after 28th October 2013

2. AN Booklet - page 16 (Just above section 9)

if you already satisfied the requirement to have sufficient knowledge of language and LIUK on or after 28 Oct 2013, you don't have to demonstrate it again.

My understanding from above two is since I passed LIUK in Feb 2013, I still needs to take this test again & submit that LIUK pass certificate for naturalisation.

Please clarify. i am really confused. :?

Hi, I don't think so you have to do it again as you said there is no expiry date on it and just write down your certificate number in that section and that'll do but I hope other moderators will shed the light on this issue.
