Hello,

What documents are required to submit for British Passport application ?

I have Indian Passport and date of birth is in 1980, Soon i will receive the Naturalisation certificate

Pick up a passport application form from post office which will tell you exactly what to submit based on your situation.

1. The application
2. Naturalisation certificate (ORIGINAL)
3. Your Indian passport (ORIGINAL)
4. The photo with countersignees sign in the back
5. Fees (can be paid by credit/debit card if you use post office check-and-send)

Thats all I remember having submitted and I got my B-passport.

I have applied for the BP, they mention there is likely to have interview for identity checks, Does anybody had a interview could shared their experience.

They are just basic question which you alone will know
Sometimes they can pull your credit file and ask question like how long have you been with your bank,where you lived , who is the provider of your contract phone etc
You should be fine

Is it likely that everyone have to visit for the Interview or only those one's whom they have doubt ?

Its for everyone having their first adult passport for past few years. Its nothing, just your personal information and that's it.

Do you include self addressed special delivery envelopes for returning your original document and for the return of your new passport?

I have just mention for returning orginal document would be a Special Delivery.

Hi All,

Just a quick question please.

I am applying for my british passport after getting the naturalisation certificate (based on 5 years Tier 1+WP and 1 year ILR).

In the list of documents it says to send the passport you used to come into the UK?

Question: Do I need to send my old passport (used to first enter the UK on work permit and it EXPIRED a while ago) or the latest renewed one (Current one)?

Please advise as i need to apply for passport asap

No you only need to send uncancelled and current passport
