Citizenship query

Dear all,

These forum has been fantastic for so many people till date, big thanks.

I am on my final hurdle now and will be eligible for Citizenship in from middle of May 2015 (I have gone through guidance notes but need this for peace of mind). I have some queries, let me quote some imp details.

- I received by Tier-1 General in June 2009
- My wife came to UK on tier-1 dependent visa in December 2009
- My child was born in India in November 2012 and since April 2013, she is in the UK with us on dependent Visa.
- We all got ILR in May 2014

Now,

1. My wife had gone for her delivery in India in Aug 2012 and came back to UK in April 2013.

which is approx 230-240 days absence

Also we went to India for some visits in year 2010, 2011, 2014 (Max 80 days considering those 3 years). Also planning to go in March for approx 25 days.

This makes 240+80+25 = 345 approx days for my wife an 105 days for me and 25 days for my child.

Question is > would this affect her application? rather would she be eligible for citizenship application in May 2015?

(We have always been residing in the UK together since our marriage)

2. Would my child be eligible for Citizenship?

3. 90 days rule means we can still go to India for 25 days before making an application?

It will be very useful if someone assist me on this, will be really appreciated.

Thank you.

1. Your wife is allowed 450 days of absence in total in the last 5 years and it is not important if she was absent for 200 days at once several years ago. What is important that she must have no more than 90 days of absences in the final year.

3. The day you submit your application is from when you start to count. If you are absent 25 days prior to application than you would add those 25 days as your absences.
Once you submit you application though you can travel without restriction providing you book your ceremony 3 within 3 weeks from receiving the letter and attending the ceremony within 90 days
