Hi all,

Do I have to stay in the UK for a certain amount of days after having submitted application through NCS?

I have an appointment with NCS in the morning on the 15th and leave the UK for a month in the afternoon on the same day. My total absence in the last year is 99 days not including the 15th.


Would that be a problem? Thank you for any advice.

15th would still be counted as a day you were in the UK. You are not bound to stay in the UK for any number of days after you've submitted the application.

General advise from NCS is "plan to be in-country for 5 days following NCS appt"

Can you confirm why such an advise is given? are they likely t come back with any queries/issue?

I was planning to submit docs and then travel the next day?

Has anyone done that?
