Hi everyone! Could someone help me please. Two referees (for the child of 14 y.o. form MN1 s3(1)) have to be a holders of British passport? Or only one? Because for both referees there is a box 'British passport number' and it doesn't say 'if any' like in form AN.
Thank you!

First referee does not have to be British citizen.
From the MN1 Guide:
One referee should be a professional who has engaged with the child in a professional
capacity, such as a teacher, health visitor, social worker or minister of religion.
The other referee must normally be the holder of a British citizen passport and either a
professional person or over the age of 25

Hello,

Could any one please let me know if I can get a friend of mine who is a practicing GP to sign in as professional referee?
I called Home office and they say that the professional signatory should be from a person who is professionally engaged with the child like Health Visitor. I couldn't contact my health visitor and I am not sure whether they would remember us. Last time they visited us was over an year ago when my child was born.

Could I ask my Chemist to sign in as professional referee as we used to regularly get medicines/formula milk from them?

Also in the form for question (1.5) Surname and (1.6) first name should be filled in, correct?

Thanks,
Raam

Thanks for the details. But GPs are not mentioned in MN1 guide for professional signatory. Would there be any issue if I get a sign from my friend who is a GP? Since you got the sign from your friend's wife who is a GP, was there any queries from Home Office to her?

Regards,
Raam

Up to you mate.If you find someone from the list then go for it otherwise get the sign from GP.

Home office is much more lenient towards kids applications so no need to worry about.
