Hi All,

My wife registered for a post graduate diploma course which was awarded by UK university but study location was an institute in India. The institute has partnership with UK university and hosts all UK teaching faculty in its Indian campus. She finished the course and was awarded certificate by UK university at graduation ceremony in their UK campus.

She is planning to use this study course to satisfy English language requirement for British Citizenship. This was not required for ILR since we got it before Oct, 2013.

On UKBA Point based calculator (PBC), there is a section "country of study" information. If she selects India and the institute state, PBC doesn't list the institute and course details and no points are awarded. If she selects UK, all course details are shown and English points are awarded. What should we fill in this section? She studied in India but the course and certificates were organised and awarded by UK university.

Regards,
Kan

Since PBS asks for place of study and if you choose correctly it doesn't show any points, then just to be on the safe side I'd take the English language test.
