Hi All,

As per the FAQs for child passport application of a naturalized child..his/her parents are not supposed to send their passports along.
However when I visited post office to use click n send service...they asked for child passport, registration certificate, birth certificate & parents passport as well.

I told them parents passport is not required as my child has BC registration certificate ..but post office said without parents passport application is incomplete.

Can someone please confirm? In passport guide it doesnt say to submit parents passports neither the FAQs.

You do NOT need to send your passport.

I applied online and got the passports in about a week.
My case was identical to yours. Children born in the UK, registered under section 1(3) after I got permanent residency status.

I only had to send the citizenship certificate (not even birth certificate), and previous un-cancelled passports of the children + the normal (i.e. declaration form and photos).
