Hi, First of all, I would like to thank all the contributors to this forum - I have always found it to be very informative and the contributors all very helpful.

Secondly, I would like some help with the Good Character Requirement.

Ok, my case - I will be eligible to apply for citizenship very soon. My problems started last week when I got a parking ticket (forgot my car and took a bus home), I paid the fines on time. Then in the same week fueled my car, forgot to pay for the fuel and drove off. I didn't remember until police came knocking on my door. Police advised me to go and pay, which I did instantly. I did ask them whether this is considered a criminal offence but they said as long as I paid back on time I shall be alright.

Could experienced contributors advise me on this case - have I breached the good character requirement? Shall I declare both of them in the application form and to the NCS?

I don't think having a parking ticket have got any effect on your application neither having the police officer on your door would effect. Good luck with your application.

You don't have anything to declare.
