Telephone your MP, they have a direct line to the Home Office, ask them to chase if it's been more than 6 months. You don't need to write to the MP.

Hi, I'm sorry to be asking this question here Amber.

Can I apply for my wife's naturalisation once I receive my naturalisation certifucate hopefully in couple of weeks time. My MP confirmed that it was granted last week when I approached him to follow up with UKVI couple of weeks ago after waiting 6 months. My wife has ILR for over a year but has been in the UK for over 4 years before ILR she was my WP dependant. Someone said to me she doesn't have to wait for 5 years and after my BC requirement of her residency reduced to 3 years.
Thank you!

Yes, once you complete the citizenship ceremony, you are British and thus from that point, your spouse can apply as the spouse of a British citizen assuming the other requirements are met. This includes a reduced residence requirement of 3 years an no need to have ILR for one year.
