Residence requirement for a newly BC Spouse.

Can I apply for my wife's naturalisation once I'm granted my BC. My wife has ILR for over a year but has been in the UK for over 4 years before ILR she was my WP dependant. Someone said to me she doesn't have to wait for 5 years and after my BC requirement of her residency reduced to 3 years.

Yes if she meets all other requirements, as the spouse of a British Citizen. See q2 under the FAQ sticky.
