So I'm taking the Life in the UK test and noticed that the bank statement I'm planning to take with me has only an initial for my first name, is that enough, or do I need to go to the bank to get a print out with a full name?

Don't you have anything else you can use with full name per the list?
What to bring to your test

You must bring the same ID that you used to book the test.

You must also bring proof of your address that has your name and post code on it. It must be dated within 3 months of the day of your test. This can be a:

gas, electricity or water bill
Council Tax bill
bank or credit card statement
letter from the Home Office with your name and address on it
UK photocard driving licence

You can bring a printed copy of a bank statement if it’s stamped and signed by the issuing branch.

I don't have anything else from the list aside from a bank statement I'm afraid :( I'm not sure if bringing my debit card which has my full name would help since it has the same account number?

I hope so, I will call them on Monday and ask but since I've read LLoyds stopped stamping and signing copies of statements I have a feeling I might have just lost £50 :|

I've called them and been told it's acceptable as long as it has the title, name initial and surname - hmmm, I wonder if that's the case why I read these stories on the internet of people being turned away due to name or initials not matching ??? Anyway should be all good :)

I'd still take debit card with full name and account number showing same account as per statement.

Dear Catfish,

I just would like to ask you if the bank statement was enough as proof of address?
HSBC is no longer signing and stamping it and unfortunately all I have is bank statement and provisional driving licence as proof of my address.

Thank you in advance.
