My baby was born last December 2014 and I will be applying for ILR this coming June 2015. I am under Tier 2 (General). My question is, Do I need to get my baby a Philippine passport and a Tier 2 dependant visa? Or can I apply for MN1 straight away after I will get my ILR? She will be 6 months old by then. I will get a same day appointment for my ILR. My worry is my baby doesnt have any visa or passport before I will apply for MN1. Please help! Thank you

Yes you can once yOu get ILR. A UK born baby is not required to have a passport as application is an entitlement under section 1(3) of the nationality act.

Thank you. I thought my baby will be like "illegal" because she got no papers from the time she was born until I will apply for MN1.

No, baby should not have an issue if born in the UK.

However, has your employer licence issue been resolved?
