Hi there,

I recently applied for the Confirmation of British Nationality Status. When I went through the from NS guide, it stated that I will be wriiten to acknowledge that they have received my application and fees. But I haven't receieved it so far. I applied via post 2 weeks before and payed through postal order. Can I please know how long will they take to send this acknowledging letter. Please, this is so urgent.

I was able to dig up this link (see last post) of a four years old thread, which told four months wait. I am guessing not much has changed, so personally I'd give it a month either side.
