Hi everyone,

I am applying for naturalisation in few weeks time but when i was going through the AN form ,had to stop at section 6. My ILR was approved in march 2012 with a sticker on my passport but never received a BPR card or not been mentioned in ILR approval letter. I had a BPR card with 2 years time limit while i was holding Spouse visa but has never returned by HO with my ILR application supporting documents.
i will appricate if anyone could help me with these questions:

1. do i need to get a BPR card before i can apply for naturalisation?

2. Also my previous BPR card was used to take life in the uk test which was never been returned by home office, so that do i have to do the test again with another proof of verification.

thanks

Personally I see the Cover Letter is always a good idea in case anything is confusing, because the goal is to make Caseworker's job easier, keeping it simple.

Please do post in the respective timeline whenever you apply. Good luck.
