MN1 for 9 month old baby, no professional references

Hello Friends,

I am hoping to get some answers here.

Me and my wife recently got an ILR and now in the process for applying neutralisation for our UK born 9 month old child.

When the child was 2 month old, we moved to the different city. In reference section of the MN1 form it ask for one referee professionally connected to the child. We spoke to our new and old health visitors, GPs but they are unable to give the reference. Our local temple priest also denied the request.

I have two British citizen friends how can sign the form but they are not connected professionally to the baby.

I would deeply appreciate any suggestion to solve this problem. Many thanks..

If any one of them is in the list of accepted professions then s/he can sign and provide their British Passport number. The Home Office is usually lenient on babies' cases.

My own three years old daughter's nursery incharge and doctors refused, so I had it signed by my British friend who was a Manager in a public company. She got approved without a problem. Good luck.

Thanks for the reply. Which two refrees you got it signed??

My one friend is a software engineer (working on contract) and other work in a office as Data analyst.

Alternatively, my boss also agreed to sign the reference but he is a French national. I can get him sign 1st reference and 2nd reference from my software engineer / data analyst friend. Still none knows my child in professional capability. Don't know if it is going to be a problem. Thanks

As I stated, my friend who is a Manager in a Public/Limited Company firm gave his Passport number. Other one was also British and a Web Developer in my office, he doesn't even have a passport.

Doesn't matter, in fact that might be better since he's probably holding a CEO/CO/Director/Manager position in a limited company you work for.
Then second referee can by any British citizen over the age of 25 (s/he then must give his passport number). Good luck.
