Hello Folks,

I wonder if someone has applied for child British passport from India recently. We applied for our little one 5 months back and everytime i call homeoffice they say it is going through mandatory checks and have no further information. Can someone please share their experience as to how long it takes or if there is any alternate way of getting my 5 month old here. Both parents are unfortunately, British passport holders but been Indian passport holders in past.

You have to wait sadly, as per this link it can take at least 16 weeks.
